# Connect IQRush to Claude.ai or Claude Code

> Add the IQRush server URL as a custom connector in Claude.ai, or register it with one command in Claude Code.

Claude.ai and Claude Code connect to IQRush through a remote URL. There is nothing to install: add the URL once and sign in to IQRush in your browser.

The production server URL is:

```text theme={null}
https://api.prod.gso.iqrush.ai/api/mcp/mcp
```

Use the URL from **Settings → MCP → Connect** in the environment that holds your projects. A Dev environment uses a different URL and different data.

## Claude.ai

1. In Claude.ai, open **Settings → Connectors**.
2. Choose **Add custom connector**.
3. Paste the server URL and save.
4. When the browser sign-in screen opens, sign in to IQRush and approve access.

The IQRush tools then appear in Claude's tool picker. Where the controls sit depends on your plan and workspace. See [Anthropic's instructions for custom connectors](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-get-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp).

## Claude Code

1. Run this command in your terminal:

   ```bash theme={null}
   claude mcp add --transport http iqrush https://api.prod.gso.iqrush.ai/api/mcp/mcp
   ```

2. Run `/mcp` inside Claude Code. IQRush should appear as `iqrush` with the status **connected**. If it asks you to authenticate, follow the browser sign-in.

By default the connection applies to the current project only. Add `--scope user` to keep it for all your projects, or `--scope project` to save it to `.mcp.json` so your team shares the same configuration.

## Check the connection

Ask: "Show me my IQRush projects." Claude should call IQRush and list the projects you can access. Choose a project and ask for a summary of its latest completed run.

An empty list usually means you signed in to a different account, or one without access to the expected workspace.

## Try asking

* "Show me my IQRush projects."
* "What is our citation share on the latest run?"
* "Start analytics mode."
* "Which sources drive citations for our competitors but not for us?"
