# Questions and reports to explore

> Start with the decision you want to make.

Start with the decision you want to make. Agent Q, or ChatGPT or Claude connected to IQRush, can help you examine the available measurements from different perspectives and prepare a useful assessment.

The examples below are requests you can adapt, rather than a menu of fixed report templates. Each needs relevant project data. A new question about an unmeasured audience or market may require a new project or measurement.

## Choose where to work

| Your task | Agent Q | Connected ChatGPT or Claude |
| - | - | - |
| Explore measurements and compare results | Ask beside the result page; check attached context. | Name the project, run, and filters in the conversation. |
| Request a business assessment or report | Ask for a summary, table, action list, or downloadable Markdown document. | Request the same analysis, with the output formats available in your assistant. |
| Work on an IQRush recommendation or draft | Open the item and use Agent Q with its context and supported editing controls. | Provide any recommendation or draft the connection cannot retrieve; review the proposed work in IQRush. |
| Add outside research | Supply relevant context and identify its source. | Supply context or use research features available in your assistant. Keep it distinct from IQRush measurements. |

## 1. Understand the evidence

* “Is this run stable enough to compare cited domains? Explain rank stability and Domain SNR in plain English.”
* “Which estimates have wide confidence intervals, and what decisions would need more evidence?”

**Useful output:** A short assessment of what the current evidence supports. Use the stability assessment for the same scope as the result; a completed run alone does not establish sufficiency.

## 2. Compare brands and competitors

* “Where do competitors appear when we do not? Show the topics and supporting answers.”
* “Which sources support competitors’ brand mentions but do not support ours?”

**Useful output:** A competitive visibility brief with topic gaps and supporting sources. Compare the same run, platform selection, and measure.

## 3. Examine distribution channels

* “Which retailers and distributors appear among the cited sources for our category? Show the URLs and which brands they support.”
* “Where is our visibility carried by our own website, retail partners, or other publishers? Flag sources whose role is unclear.”

**Useful output:** A channel visibility assessment for a commercial or partner team. Classifying a domain as a retailer or distributor may need a review of that source. Citation visibility does not measure channel sales.

## 4. Plan influencer and publisher outreach

* “Which cited sources are creator content, publications, videos, or communities? Identify the author or creator where the source provides one.”
* “Build an outreach shortlist from those sources. Show the evidence for each choice and what we still need to research.”

**Useful output:** An evidence-backed outreach shortlist. The project supplies cited-source evidence; creator identity and fit may need additional research. Audience reach, engagement, and commercial terms need their own evidence.

## 5. Improve e-commerce and product detail page visibility

* “Which of our product detail pages are cited, and which competing product pages appear in the same topic?”
* “Compare the available page content with the questions it needs to answer. Suggest the most useful product-page improvements.”

**Useful output:** A product detail page (PDP) visibility and content review. Use captured or supplied page content. A page absent from the measured citations is not proof that it never appears in AI answers.

## 6. Explore financial-services visibility

* “For the financial services topics measured in this project, which firms appear most often, and what do the answers say about them?”
* “Compare our visibility across the available customer profiles, such as business owners and finance leaders, and show where evidence is missing.”

**Useful output:** A financial-services discovery and positioning report. Use customer profiles actually represented in the project; keep different services and audiences clearly identified.

## 7. Assess a PE firm through banker questions

* “For our private-equity firm, how do we appear in the measured questions investment bankers ask when identifying potential buyers?”
* “Which competing firms appear in those answers, and which sources support their positioning by sector or deal focus?”

**Useful output:** A banker-persona visibility assessment for a PE firm. The project must contain relevant banker questions or an available banker audience profile. Ask for the exact questions included before interpreting the result.

## 8. Support commercial diligence

* “Assess the target company’s AI visibility in its measured market. Where is it strong, and where do competitors appear instead?”
* “Compare the target’s visibility across the available topics and buyer profiles. Prepare questions for management based on the evidence.”

**Useful output:** A visibility assessment and management discussion brief. Broader conclusions about demand, revenue, market size, or valuation require additional business evidence.

## 9. Follow change over time

* “What changed between the latest two completed runs? Include the confidence intervals and change assessment.”
* “Prepare a one-page leadership summary with the main findings, supporting evidence, and three recommended next steps.”

**Useful output:** A weekly, monthly, or board-ready report for the available measurement dates. At least two comparable completed runs are needed to assess change. Specify the period each time you request the report.

## 10. Connect visibility with website outcomes

* “Using the linked analytics data, summarize visits, conversions, and revenue attributed to AI referral traffic for the selected period.”
* “Which products received views, add-to-cart events, or purchases from AI-referred visits, and where are tracking gaps?”

**Useful output:** An AI referral traffic and e-commerce performance report where the required analytics connection and events are available. Match the date range and attribution definition. These records describe tracked referrals; they do not count every visit influenced by an AI answer.

## Turn recommendations into action with Agent Q

These requests use the recommendation or draft you have open in IQRush:

* “Explain this recommendation, the evidence behind it, and the first practical step.”
* “Turn this recommendation into a content brief for our audience, with the questions the draft should answer.”
* “Revise this section to address the missing question. Preserve the facts and show the proposed change.”
* “Summarize this technical recommendation for our web team, including what they should verify after implementation.”

Use [Agent Q’s content controls](/guides/23-agent-q) to review and apply proposed revisions. For a connected assistant, supply the relevant material when it is not available through the connection.

## Give the report a clear brief

Include four things: the project and run, the business question, the audience, and the format. You can start with:

> Use the latest completed run for \[project]. Prepare a one-page \[focus area] report for \[audience]. State the run date and filters. Summarize the main findings, include supporting measurements and sources, and recommend three next steps. Explain stability, signal-to-noise, and uncertainty where relevant. Identify missing evidence and separate findings from recommendations.

For a comparison, name both runs or dates. For an audience assessment, ask which audience profiles and prompts are available first.

Decision-grade reporting keeps the connection between the question, the measurement, and the conclusion visible. A different perspective should use the evidence at its actual scope and make any need for further measurement clear.
