# Manage your account, workspaces, and people

> Use the profile menu at the bottom left to open Settings.

Use the profile menu at the bottom left to open **Settings**. The sections available depend on your role and whether you belong to an organization or a standalone workspace.

## Update your profile

Open **Profile**. Use **Edit** beside **Your name**, make the change, and select **Save**. Review the displayed email address if you are checking which account is signed in.

## Organize projects in workspaces

A workspace groups projects for a brand, client, or team.

To switch the workspace you are viewing, use the workspace selector at the top of the app. Then select the project you want.

To create a workspace when you have permission:

1. Open **Settings → Workspaces**.
2. Select **New workspace**.
3. Enter **Workspace name**.
4. Optionally enter **Domain**. This is used for the workspace icon.
5. Select **Create workspace**.

Choose a distinct name your team will recognize. If a name already exists, use another one.

Open a workspace from the list to see its details and available member controls. Choose the correct workspace when creating projects; Project settings does not offer a move control.

## Invite an organization member

If you can manage organization access:

1. Open **Settings → People**.
2. Select **Members**.
3. Select **Add members**.
4. Enter the person’s address in **Enter email address**.
5. Choose the appropriate **Role** from the available options.
6. Select **Invite**.
7. Check the resulting row and invitation status.

Check the address, access scope, and role before inviting. The member is being given access to your organization, not just being sent a copy of a guide.

Use **Guests** to review guest access and **Inactive** to review inactive people. Workspace guest controls are available inside workspace details for authorized users.

## If a control is missing or disabled

A viewer may be able to read information without changing it. Some administrative controls require a different role, and invitations can be limited by the account’s available seats.

Ask the organization or workspace administrator to check your access. Repeatedly refreshing the page will not change your role.

## Connect your preferred assistant

In the same account **Settings**, use **MCP → Connect** for ChatGPT or Claude setup. **Connected clients** shows the clients linked to your account, and **Tools** lists available capabilities. [Follow the connection guide](/guides/30-connected-assistants).

**Next:** [Check credits and plan access](/guides/26-credits).
