# Read cited page targets — HTTP

> Read a page of source URLs ranked by citation share.

Read a page of source URLs ranked by citation share.

**Method:** `GET`

**Path:** `/projects/{project_id}/runs/{run_id}/placement-targets`

Use the HTTP base for your authorized environment and an `Authorization: Bearer` header. See [authentication](/developers/guides/04-authentication) and [HTTP setup](/developers/guides/06-http-quickstart).

## Parameters

This table covers the standard read profile. It excludes internal application routes and advanced analysis controls.

| Name | Location | Type | Required | Default | Meaning |
| - | - | - | - | - | - |
| `project_id` | path | string | Yes | — | Project ID from list\_projects. Select the project in the intended workspace and environment. |
| `run_id` | path | string | Yes | — | Run ID from list\_runs for this project. Use the exact returned value and check readiness before reading measurements. |
| `limit` | query | integer | No | `20` | Maximum target URLs on this page. Use next\_offset to continue through the available list. Minimum 1. Maximum 200. |
| `offset` | query | integer | No | `0` | Zero-based position at which to start the placement-target page. Use next\_offset from the previous response. Minimum 0. |

## Request example

Set `IQRUSH_API_BASE` and `IQRUSH_ACCESS_TOKEN` through secure configuration. Replace project/run IDs and sample selections with values returned by your account. JSON objects and arrays are encoded as query strings.

```bash theme={null}
curl --fail-with-body --silent --show-error --get \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer ${IQRUSH_ACCESS_TOKEN}" \
  --header "Accept: application/json" \
  --data-urlencode limit=20 \
  --data-urlencode offset=0 \
  "${IQRUSH_API_BASE%/}/projects/${IQRUSH_PROJECT_ID}/runs/${IQRUSH_RUN_ID}/placement-targets"
```

## Read the response

Top-level `targets` includes URLs with `citation_share` and `citation_coverage` estimates. Top-level `count` is the current page; `n_available` is the full list; `next_offset` is null at the end. This response has no `data` wrapper.

For URL-level measurements with dimension filters, use `get_citation_score` with `aggregation_level: url` instead.

### Fields to use

These selected fields explain the example and the result to preserve. Field presence depends on the response; this is not a complete response schema.

| Field | Meaning and use |
| - | - |
| `targets[].url` | Cited page that can be reviewed as a placement target; appearance here is not a placement agreement. |
| `targets[].citation_share` | Page citation-share estimate with unit and interval. |
| `targets[].citation_coverage` | Page citation-coverage estimate with unit and interval. |
| `count` | Number of URLs returned on this page of the full response. |
| `n_available` | Number of available target URLs before pagination. |
| `next_offset` | Offset for the next page; null means the list has ended. |

Selected response fields from IQRush Dev. Lists are shortened and project/run IDs are placeholders; this is not the full response.

```json theme={null}
{
  "targets": [
    {
      "url": "https://www.aad.org/public/everyday-care/sun-protection/shade-clothing-sunscreen/choosing-right-sunscreen",
      "citation_share": {
        "value": 0.03,
        "unit": "proportion",
        "ci": {
          "lower": 0.02,
          "upper": 0.04,
          "level": 0.95
        },
        "n": null,
        "stability": null
      },
      "citation_coverage": {
        "value": 0.092,
        "unit": "proportion",
        "ci": {
          "lower": 0.067,
          "upper": 0.11599999999999999,
          "level": 0.95
        },
        "n": null,
        "stability": null
      }
    }
  ],
  "count": 20,
  "n_available": 1567,
  "offset": 0,
  "next_offset": 20
}
```

Read the actual returned scope, counts, and interval levels before interpreting these fields.

MCP equivalent: [`get_placement_targets`](/developers/tools/get_placement_targets). Use the parameters and defaults on this page for HTTP.

## If the result is unavailable

Check HTTP status and the response’s `error` field before using data. A successful empty response does not establish a zero value. Preserve `not_available`, `not_available_reason`, `unavailable_reason`, and `linked` where returned. [Errors and recovery](/developers/guides/13-errors) shows observed examples.
